July

Thursday, July 3rd: Interrupted Art Craft at 2:00 PM.

Monday, July 7th: Matinee Movie at 2:00 PM. We will be showing the movie “Unbreakable Boy.”

Thursday, July 10th: Kathy Herrin from the Cañon City Police Department will be at the library to do a presentation on scams at 2:00 PM.

Friday, July 11th: The Cañon City Workforce will be here from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to answer career related questions.

Monday, July 14th: There will be a presentation on the “History of the Royal Gorge Bridge” at 2:00 PM.

Friday, July 18th: All ages can play bingo together at 2:00 PM. There will be prizes for the winners.

Tuesday, July 22nd: The Fremont County Master Gardeners will be at the library to talk about gardening at 10:00 AM.

Friday, July 25th: Skye Stuart will be at the library to sign books and talk about the behind the scenes for her new book, “Forgotten Female Felons” at 3:00 PM.

Tuesday, July 29th: Kat McNeil with FAR will be at the library to do a presentation called, “More than just a trail” at 1:00 PM.


August

Friday, August 1st: The Adult Summer Reading Program will be ending. August 1st will also be the last drawing for the grand prize! Make sure you have your entries in before this date if you want better chances at winning the grand prize.

Thursday, August 7th: Sara Frances will be doing an author talk and book signing at 12 PM.

Friday, August 8th: The Cañon City Workforce will be at the library from 11 AM to 1 PM to offer career related help.

Thursday, August 14th: Jennifer Gerring will be at the library at 2 PM to offer an origami class.

Friday, August 15th: We will be holding a puzzle competition. 4 Teams of up to 4 people can register to compete to complete the puzzle the fastest. Winners will receive a prize!

Monday, August 18th: Matinee Movie Monday at 2 PM. We will be showing the movie Twisters. There will be free popcorn but bring a drink in case you get thirsty!

Friday, August 22nd: We will be doing Bingo at 2 PM for all ages! We will play 3 games and there will be prizes for the winners of each game.
